(II) Erna Nurkholida, M.Pd. Key Words: English mispronunciation, Young learners, factors can influence of the English pronunciation Learn pronunciation in English language is still a problem for Indonesian learners since they have been accustomed speaking their mother tongue since childhood. It happen because Indonesian language is pronounced greatly different from English pronunciation. The purpose of this research are to explain mispronounce of English language by young learners at 5th grade at MI Minhajul Huda Plosobuden, in terms of consonants, vowels and also explain the factors can influence of the English pronunciation by young learners at 5th grade at MI Minhajul Huda Plosobuden. This is aqualitative research that used case study research design. The participant of this research were 15 students who are still in the 5th grade. The data were collected through recording pronunciation test and interview. The methods of analysese data were the techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The result of the research showed that the students’ mispronounce the consonants sound, namely: sound (θ) 21,42%, the sound (ʒ) 25% and the sound (ʧ) 30,95% and for vowels that are, /ʌ/, 35,29%, /ɔ:/ , 29,41%, /ɪ/, 9,80 %.The factors of pronunciation can affect the difficulty of pronouncing English for students at 5th grade at MI Minhajul Huda are many factor. They are included, interference of mother tongue, sound system differences, represented by more than one written letter, influence of spelling, learners age, students attitude and also exposure. .It was suggested for the teacher, she should introduce course to be trained on phonetics and the also correct the students’ pronunciation during the teaching to help student imrpoving their pronunciation. .
