Abstract
Teaching writing skills is a series of activities carried out by students to become skilled at writing. Vocational High School is school which is limited to efforts to prepare people or a person's path for life in the world of work. The objectives of this study are to describe the strategies the teachers used in teaching writing at SMK YP 17 Pare, to describe the media used by teachers when teaching writing at SMK YP 17 Pare, and to describe the assessments used by teachers in teaching writing at SMK YP 17 Pare
