Abstract

Lexical and contextual meanings are part of semantics. Lexical and contextual must be present in every literary work, one of which is in songs. Everyone can learn about literary appreciation and the song's background by listening to songs. Song lyrics can describe the composer expressing his feelings, thoughts, and desires. This thesis aims to discover the lexical and contextual meaning found in the lyrics of The Script's No Sound Without Silence Album. The data is 11 songs by The Script's No Sound Without Silence Album to be analyzed.
