Abstract

ABSTRACT Salsabila, Zanuba. (2023). Evaluation On English Massive Learning Program at the City of Kediri. English Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah, State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Kediri, Advisor (1) Dr. Toyyibah, SS, M.Pd (2) Dr. Ary Setya B.N. M.Pd. Keywords: Evaluation, Learning program, and English Massive. Evaluation has multiple definitions, but in general, it refers to the process of assessing or judging the value, importance, or quality of something. In the context of learning, evaluation is the process of gathering evidence to determine the extent to which students have achieved the learning objectives of a course or program. This program has been running since 2015 and researchers want to research this program with the hope that CIPP evaluation method can provide valuable input for this program or can be reference for other Cities. Because this program is unique, this program does not exist in other Cities so that it attack the attention of researchers to examine this program. Based on observations, some people have difficulty communicating using English, but with the English Massive program provided by the government, some people are helped. The purpose of this research is to find out how the English Massive Program in Kediri can improve the quality of English communication skills. The design of this research is to use a qualitative descriptive research method. This research design was used to investigate whether the existence of the English Massive program could improve the quality of the participants' English skills. The subjects in this study were taken from the Young Adult class, tutors and management. The research design uses the CIIP evauation method which aims to determine the results of the evaluation of English learning in the English Massive Young Adult Program in Kediri City. The conclusion is that the English Massive Program can help and improve the quality of the participants.
