ABSTRACT Dewi, K. S. 2021. “Learners' Attitude Toward The Use Of Google Classroom As A Learning application”. Thesis, Department of English Language Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Kediri. Advisors: (I) Dr. Sri Wahyuni, M.Pd, (II) Dr. Ari Setya Budi Ningrum Keywords: Attitude, Google Classroom, Learning application Learning application are a single unit with the learning method. The function of learning application is to support the learning process that can be accessed by anyone, including students, teachers or lecturers. In order to reduce the difficultie and struggles during pandemic covid-19 that students may have about online systems namely a Learning Management System (LMS). One of the popular LMS is Google Classroom. The purpose of this study is describe the learners’ attitude of Google Classroom use as a learning application in English within secondary education. The method of this study is quantitative research and the design of this study is survey research. The sample of this study is 161 students. The questionnaires and interviews are collected as the data of this study. The questionnaire consists of 22 items that was divided by three parts, The first part shows learners’ attitude toward Google Classroom related to cognitive aspect in item number 1-7. The second part shows learners’ attitude toward Google Classroom related to affective aspect in item number 8-16. The second part shows learners’ attitude toward Google Classroom related to behavioral aspect in item number 17-22. Five students were also interviewed to know more information while they used Google Classroom for learning application. The result of this study shows that the students’ have a positive attitude toward Google Classroom as learning application related to cognitive, affective and behavioral aspect. Most the participants said that Google Classroom is a free, easy-to-use application, it saves students time, money, and paper. Furthermore, Google Classroom provides useful tools that assist students' capacity to handle tasks in a disciplined. The challenges that faced by students is poor internet connection. The solution that faced by students are looking for good connection. Therefore, Google Classroom can be used for learning application in tenth grade of SMK PGRI 2 Kediri and in other subject
