Ayu, F. Putri. 2022. Student’s Obstacles in Identifying Research of Qualitative Research Methodology (QRM) Course. Advisor:1) Dr. Mukhammad Abdullah, M.Ag., and 2) Ria Fakhrurriana, M.Pd. Keywords: Obstacles, Identifying Research. The aims of this research is the researcher would like to analyzes the students’ obstacles in analyzing research and the researcher would like to analyzes the occurance of students’ obstacles in identifying research. In this case, the researcher uses qualitative research method with narrative inquiry as the design of the research. In this study, the researcher uses Narrative inquiry. Narrative Inquiry is the research design which tells a story about an individual or group, about their life or their experience about did something in oral or written form. In this research design, the researcher would like to determines if the research problem or research question best fits narrative research. Then, the researcher gather the participant’s stories and collect the data or the information about the context of those stories. The researcher would like to analyzes the stories and retell those stories in the framework which makes sense. And the last, the researcher would like to collaborates with participants by actively involving the experience in the research. Population is all of elements of processing one or all of the individual which participate in the research. The population of this research is the students of 6th semester students at IAIN KEDIRI. Sample is the part of population, sample consist of two part such as dependent variable and independent variable. The sample of this research is the students of 6th semester students of Department of English Language Education in IAIN KEDIRI who identifying research in Qualitative Research Methodology Course. Based on the purpose of this study that this study is written to analyze the student’s obstacle in analyzing research. That was raised the question in order to make the researcher write this research, the question is, what are the students’ obstacles in analyzing Qualitative Research?
