Abstract

This study investigated the effectiveness of YouTube in improving students’ speaking skills at SMK Al-Mahrusiyah Kediri using a quasi-experimental design with 57 students. Mann-Whitney U test (p = 0.048) showed a significant effect. Although the effect size was small (d = 0.26), YouTube proved effective as a speaking learning medium.
