The Effect of Using the Educaplay Platform on Interest in Learning Arabic in Eighth-Grade Students at MTsN 1 Kediri City. Keywords: Educaplay, Interest in Learning, Arabic This research is motivated by the low interest in learning Arabic at MTsN 1 Kediri City. Based on the results of initial observations, the learning process is caused by the use of conventional teaching methods dominated by lectures and memorization, so that students tend to be passive, less enthusiastic, and easily feel bored during learning activities. In addition, the use of interactive learning media based on technology is still not optimal. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the effect of using the Educaplay platform on students' interest in learning Arabic. So this study aims to (1) determine the level of student learning interest before using the Educaplay platform, and (2) determine the effect of using the Educaplay platform on interest in learning Arabic. The approach used in this study is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method through a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population included all eighth-grade students of MTsN 1 Kota Kediri, with a sample of 56 students consisting of class VIII B as the experimental class and class VIII C as the control class. The data collection instrument was a learning interest questionnaire that included indicators of attention, interest, willingness, and feelings of pleasure. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS 21 through the Sample T-Test. The results of the study showed that: (1) The level of student learning interest before being given treatment was in the moderate category, with an average value of 79.28 for the experimental class and 76.60 for the control class. (2) There was a significant influence of the use of the Educaplay platform on student learning interest, as evidenced by an increase in the average value of the experimental class' learning interest to 88.39 (high category), while the control class only reached 77.85 (moderate category). The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value (Sig. 2- tailed) of 0.006 < 0.05, so H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Thus, the use of the Educaplay platform was proven to increase student learning interest in learning Arabic and was able to create a more interactive, interesting and enjoyable learning atmosphere.
