Abstract
The topic of this research was reading comprehension of narrative text. The theme of this study was reading comprehension trough QAR Strategy. the problem of the study was “how can QAR strategy improve the students‟ reading comprehension at MAN 4 Kediri”. The design of this research was CAR (Classroom Action Research). The activities of this research were planning, implementing, observation and reflecting. The research focused on the improving students reading comprehension. the classes that chosen was X-IIB. This method conduct two cycle there were fifth meeting. The students criteria of success if they achieve score 75 and if they are get score below 75 it meant failed. The result of this study showed that most students have improved their reading comprehension in narrative text. it can be seen the percentages in pre-liminary study or on pre-test was 42%, and in cycle 1 the score of the students were 50 %, then after giving the implementation of the strategy in cycle 2 the percentage of the students score was achieved that 82%.
