State College for Islamic Studies (STAIN) Kediri, Faculty of Education, English Department, Advisors: 1.) Drs. Agus Edi Winarto, M. Pd. 2.) Erna Nur Kholida, M. Pd. Key Words: Implementation, teaching learning English, speaking, the problems, the efforts. This study was conducted to describe teaching learning English and Its Problem at SD Islam Al Huda Kota Kediri to increase the English learning: (1) implementatior of teaching learning English, (2) the problems faced in teaching learning English, (3) The efforts to solve of teaching learning English. The subject of this study was the first grade students of SD Islam Al Huda Kota Kediri. This study used descriptive qualitative as research design because there was no treatment in this research. This study used the instruments those were observation, questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The result of the study showed that there were some problems faced by the students in English 'earning. Most of the students had more problems in confidence, pronounciation, vocabulary, environment, and motivation those make the students were difficult to English learning process. Based on the problems, there were also some efforts which have been given by the students themselve, the teacher's efforts, and the researcher's suggestion. Some of them should practice and do more exercises in their English book with themselve or friends. They also can ask the teacher when they were confused about the material. They be able to memorize some words and read some interesting books. The researcher suggested them to be active in learning English whether in the class or outside the class. They should practice more with each other. The students were hoped to watch the video like sing a song, counting, and the way of pronoun a verb and listen to the music more often. It becomes good to develop their English learning and it will increase in English learning process.
