Keyword: Perspective, English learning, electronic dictionaries. Electronic dictionary is one of simple tool in learning English. Electronic dictionaries have become more and more attractive, accepted and popular to EFL learners at different levels. Using electronic dictionaries in EFL classroom has gradually become an alternative to many students. Some of current issues related to the integration of electronic dictionaries into EFL instruction and learning will be identified and discussed. Considering the fact that the use of electronic dictionaries will be indispensable in the near future, the study would have direct implications for the successful implementation of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) and th effective use of ED in EFL context. Considering the explanation, the researcher have some research problem, those are how often do the students use electronic dictionaries, what students' perspectives on the use of electronic dictionaries in English learning, what are students' problems on the use of electronic dictionaries in English learning. The subject of the study is 100 English Department students. They are from second, fourth and six semester. The design of this study is survey research in which it is used quantitative approach. The researcher used questionnaire as main instrument to collect data. The questionnaire adapt by Benjoint. She also analyzed the data through computing data into Microsoft Excel. The result of this study reveals that students have positive and good response of electronic dictionaries used in English learning. They perceived that Electronic dictionaries facilitated them to develop their learning activities, especially vocabulary. Most students always use electronic distionaries in their English learning activities. They use Electronic dictionaries to find the meaning. check spelling, check pronounciation, try to memorize vocabulary during conversation in English and look for example sentence. Therefore, most students perceive that electronic dictionaries have a good features for English learning. They strongly agree that electronic dictionaries are easy to use and acessible everywhere. Most students strongly agree that the use of Electronic dictionaries make them learn faster. Students state that meaning in Electronic dictionaries is more detailed and electronic dictionaries easy to carry. Although Electronic dictionary has many benefit as tool in learning actvities, but students also have problem when they use Electronic dictionaries. The common problem is students have difficulty to choose among definition. The other problem, they do not understand the instruction on the dictionaries. The third problem student does not know how to use the right dictionaries for their level. The last problem student does not understand the instruction of the dictionaries.
