Abstract
AN'NAS TASYA PUTRI ROHMADANI, Supervisors Dr. H. AHMAD SUBAKIR, M.Ag and Dr. ASYHAD ABDILLAH ROSYID, M.Ag. Father’s Prototype to Build Children’s ESQ Thematic Interpretation Study, Al-Qur'an and Tafsir Science, Ushuluddin and Dakwah, IAIN Kediri, 2025. Keywords: Father Prototype, ESQ. This study aims to examine the father's prototype in shaping children's emotional and spiritual intelligence (ESQ) based on the study of thematic interpretation of the Qur'an. This approach emphasizes the importance of the father figure as the main role model that shapes children's character, especially in spiritual and emotional aspects. The research method used is a qualitative-descriptive method with thematic analysis of relevant Qur'anic verses. The results show that the father's role as a prototype in children's ESQ education includes exemplary faith, compassion, self-control, and wisdom. In addition, fathers who are emotionally and spiritually present have a significant impact on children's ESQ development. This finding reinforces the urgency of Qur'an-based father education to form a generation that is emotionally and spiritually intelligent. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of fathers in an Islamic perspective and provides a basis for more effective family education.
