Abstract
This research is conducted to gain an in-depth understanding of Amaliyah Tadris program. Amaliyah Tadris is a guided teaching practice activity aimed at developing teaching skills and is carried out within a certain period as a requirement for completing the program. The purpose of this research uses a qualitative approach with field research methodology. The subjects of the research were selected using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants of this research were the chief of Amaliyah Tadris committee, ustad/ustazah (teachers) mentors of Amaliyah Tadris, and twelfth-grade students on Darul Ihsan Modern Islamic Boarding School. Data analysis techniques involved data reduction, data storage, and drawing conclusions. The technique for testing the validity of the data used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of this research show that Amaliyah Tadris activities have alternative methods derived from well-prepared options or ways that follow certain steps to achieve the objectives. This is clearly seen from the entire process of Amaliyah Tadris activities from the beginning, which includes: Preparation Stage in the Amaliyah Tadris program aims to develop students' competencies in the pedagogical aspect through guidance in teaching methods and mastery of the material, preparation guidance (i’dad), and the process of preparing i’dad. And the stage of the impelementation on the Amaliyah Tadris program aims to develop students' competencies in the professional aspect and the skills of the learning process, starting with becoming practice teachers in predetermined classes. Evaluation Stage in the Amaliyah Tadris program includes creating a forum among mentor teachers and peers as an effort to provide guidance for correcting mistakes made by students who become practice teachers. This forum determines the students' graduation. It can be conclude that Amaliyah Tadris program can prepare students' potential to become teachers.
