Abstract
This research generally answered one question "Do the students who are taught by using Lola Speak application have better speaking skill than those who are not taught by using Lola Speak application?". The objective of this research was to determine the effect of using Lola Speak application on students' speaking skill at eleventh grade students of SMAN 2 Kediri. Quasi-experimental was used in this research. The subjects in this research were 50 students that choosen as the sample and divided into two class; experimental group and control group. The data was collected using pre-test and post-test in each group. In experimental group students were taught by using Lola Speak application and in control group students were not taught by using Lola Speak application The findings show that due to the value of Sig. <0.05 then Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. The result of ANCOVA shows that the value of Sig. was 0.000. From the data, it can be seen that there is significant difference between speaking skill of the students who are taught using Lola Speak application and those who are not taught using Lola Speak application. Based on this research, it was concluded that Lola Speak application was worth using for improving students' speaking skill.
