Abstract
Questions are important as tools to test your student’s knowledge and skills, thus helping you to know how far the student follow the learning process. In the classroom the teachers ask a question about speaking material is very varieties. Based on Bloom’s taxonomy theory; there are knowledge, comprehension, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. This analysis is focused on content question type based on Bloom’s taxonomy theory. The purpose is to investigate what the types of teacher question in the classrooms. The date takes from two classes EFL of fourth semester at one of Islamic Institute in Kediri. The instrument of this study is observation-audio recorder and documentation. This instrument helps to get some question varieties dates especially in content question type that are used by teacher and show how much the whole of question variety from them and find out the dominant type of question that used by the teacher. The result`of the study show that there are four questions types that used by the teacher in classroom interaction from five question types base on Bloom’s Taxonomy theory. The first is knowledge question, there are 9 (29,03 %) questions asked by the teacher. The second is comprehension question, there are 13 (41,93%) questions that asked by the teacher. The third is analysis question, there are only 2 (6,46%) questions that asked by the teachers. The fourth is synthesis question, there are 5 (16,12%) questions that asked by the teacher. And the last is evaluation question, there are 2 (6,46%) questuion that asked by the teacher. There are 31 question that found.
