Abstract

E-Learning Madrasah as teaching media current phenomenon in teaching English during pandemic. With e-learning education system, students are able to learn independently and not just rely on the process of teaching and learning at schools. In using E-Learning Madrasah as teaching media, it makes the teacher easily in teaching learning process by the simple feature and easy to access. This study aims to identify and describe teachers' strategies in using the E-Learning Madrasah application when teaching English online at MTsN 2 Kota Kediri from the planning of learning, learning process until evaluating. The subject of this research is the English teacher at MTsN 2 Kota Kediri. This research used a descriptive gualitative methods. The research method used by researchers is by observation, interviews and documentation. The interview was conducted at MTsN 2 Kota Kediri with Mrs. KH and Mr. Mas informant. This study is identifying how the learning process of English teaching strategies by utilizing E-Learning Madrasah as an online learning medium due to the Covid19 pandemic. Students are often less interactive in responding to the process of learning activities carried out using E-Learning Madrasah. In addition, teachers also cannot directly measure students' abilities. To overcome monotonous learning and not attract student interaction in learning using E-Learning Madrasah and the challenges of teachers in managing how to teach using the E-Learning Madrasah application. The findings of this study show that English teachers at MTsN 2 Kota Kediri have the initiative and creativity in managing teacher learning strategies when using E-Learning Madrasah by the teachers way of creating attractive, interesting media and utilizing E-Learning Madrasah features to achieve learning goals. In the end, this research is expected to be useful for English teachers and other future learner to obtain information and to develop the guality of education.
