ABSTRACT Azizah, Sinta Nur. 2022. The Implementation of Teachers in Providing Learning Materials for English Subject During the Covid-19 Pandemic at SMKN 2 Kediri. Thesis, Departement of English Language Education Faculty Of Education. State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Kediri, Advisor: (1) Nur Afifi, M. App. Ling, Ph. D., and (2) Dr. Mukhamad Abdullah, M.Ag. Keywords : Teacher Implementation, Providing Learning Material, Covid-19 Pandemic Learning materials are one of the important elements in education. With the existence of learning materials, the knowledge of students can increase. The existence of a pandemic has brought new changes in the education system, namely online learning. So, in this case, an educator must have a creative way of delivering learning material so that students can follow the learning well without feeling bored. Therefore, this study aimed, including: (a) To reveal the media and methods teachers used in providing learning materials for English subject during the pandemic. (b) To reveal the teachers did in teaching learning process during the pandemic. (c) To reveal the students responses delivering learning materials during online learning. This study uses a qualitative research design with case study approach. SMKN 2 Kediri became the research location. The author uses three data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique was completed in three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that English teachers at SMKN 2 Kediri used wattsapp, google classroom, youtube, and canva as learning media, while problem-based learning was a learning method. In the previous learning process, the teacher had made preparations in the form of a one-page lesson plan and conducted an evaluation at the end of each month. The students' responses to the teacher's way of providing learning material is that students do not understand the material presented by the teacher, so the understanding that students receive is only 50%.
