Abstract

Perception is a sensing process, namely the process of receiving a stimulus by an individual through the senses or also called a sensory process. Perception determines what a person will do to fulfil various interests, both for himself, his family, and the community where he interacts. To find out student perceptions, there are several indicators that can be used, Understanding, Acceptance and Evaluation. The objectives of the research to find out the students’ perceptions of using online learning materials at students in semester batch 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 of English Department in IAIN Kediri. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative research as design method because it was comparable to collect the data from students’ perception, and gave interview to collecting the data. The data was collected from students in semester batch 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 of English Department in IAIN Kediri which have been learned using online learning. The sample were 101 students in semester batch 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 of English Department in IAIN Kediri The results show that from these three aspects, student’s perception toward English e-learning during covid-19 are at the high level of interest with the average score 77%. Students think e-learning is quite fun. They have many advantages. E-learning can motivate learning as well as increase student activity in the learning process.
