Abstract

Binti Khoirun Nisa’ (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education): “Development of Fable-Based Big Book Learning Media to Improve the Skills of Grade I Students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamiyah 1 Surowono, Badas, Kediri.” This study aims to produce a fable-based big book learning medium for Grade I students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamiyah 1 Surowono, Badas, Kediri Regency. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model. The development stages undertaken in this study include Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results indicate the following validity levels for the fable-based big book learning medium: 73.33% from a media expert, 88.33% from a subject matter expert, 86.66% from a language expert, 83.12% from four students in the small-group trial, and 90.38% from twenty-two students in the field trial. An analysis was conducted comparing students' reading interest before using the folklore-based big book learning medium (pre-test) and after using it (post-test). Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that the fable-based big book learning medium is suitable for use in Grade I classrooms at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamiyah 1 Surowono, Badas, Kediri Regency.
