Abstract

Smart Education is a new paradigm in global education that goal to increase the quality of the students in long life learning. Besides, the development of information technology and the rivalry to get a job that marked with the development of new technology which increasing of the competency. In this case, the renewal in the education need to be developed on and on and become a never-ending process. This study is aimed at describing The Perceptions of English Students IAIN Kediri on Using E-Learning in Academic Writing. Fourth semester students of English Department of IAIN Kediri in academic year 2020/2021 had taken a part in this study. The research design of this research is descriptive quantitative in form of survey research. The research instrument of this research is closed-ended form questionnaires. Upon obtaining the whole data needed, the researcher used Microsoft Excel to calculate the data. Ms. Excel and SPSS are used to get further insight of each variable by computing the mean and the percentage of each data. The use of E-learning in Academic Writing of English Department students of IAIN Kediri was conducting. The result of this research shows that students’ perceptions on using e-learning in academic writing is positive. It can be proven by the number level of agreement.
