"The Effectiveness of Applying Running Dictation to Improve Vocabulary Mastery of Eighth Grade Students at MTsN 8 Kediri", Undergraduate Thesis, Department of Arabic Language Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, State Islamic Institute of Kediri. Supervisor 1: Eko Budi Hartanto, S.,Hum., M.Pd.I., Supervisor 2: Bagus Adrian Permata, M.Pd.I. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying the Running Dictation method to improve Arabic vocabulary mastery among eighth-grade students at the 8th State Islamic Junior High School in Kediri. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of two classes: the experimental class with 25 students and the control class with 25 students. A sample is a part or representation of the population studied, and in this research, it includes all eighth-grade students. The results showed a significant difference between the two classes, with the independent t-test significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, the N-Gain test results indicated a considerable improvement in vocabulary mastery in the experimental class at 64.30%, which was much higher than the control class's 18.47%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Running Dictation method is effective in enhancing students' Arabic vocabulary mastery.
