Listiana, Eka. 2016. "The Analysis of Humanity Values in "Kingdom of Heaven" Movie". Thesis, English Department, Faculty of Education, The State College for Islamic Studies (STAIN) Kediri. Advisor: (1) Dr. Mukhamad Abdullah, M.Ag (2) Erna Nurkholida, M. Pd. Keyword: Humanity Values, Characters. The purposes of this research are devided into three part. The first purpose of this research is to find out intrinsic elements in Kingdom of Heaven movie. The second purpose is to find out kinds of humanity in the main character in Kingdom of Heaven movie. The third purpose is to find out the influences of humanity values on character in Kingdom of Heaven movie. The writer uses descriptive qualitative as research design. It means that it does not need statistic approach to explore the material. The reseach is about humanity value of Kingdom of Heaven. Qualitative research is a search of which the data written or oral words are descriptive analyzed. The data used in this research is in the movie "Kingdom of Heaven" that is take from primary sources and secondary sources. The data have been collected and analyzed by using the Theory of Literature written by Shalom H. Schwartz (1992) and Carl Rogers (1959). These data are including: Humanity Values, Self Actualization, and The Fully Functioning Person Based on research, it was found that the main character is Balian. He is as a protagonist and dynamic character. The humanity values of Balian are achievement, power, security, conformity, benevolence, and universalism. And also in term humanitarian values, he has the ability to self-actualization extraordinary. Moreover, Balian is also categorized as someone who fully functional, trust the feelings, and creative. From analyzing humanity values, hopefully it can build the good character for us and always care each other in social life.
