Abstract
The teacher applied discovery learning method in teaching reading comprehension using some procedures through stimulation, problem identification, data collection, data processing, verification and generalization. There are also some of the difficulties that faced by teachers when implementing the discovery learning method in teaching reading comprehension, the first is time allocation (limited time), and the second is the teachers difficult to control the students stay focus in the middle of learning process. Based on the difficulties, the teachers also giving some of the solutions to handled it, the first is holding twice until three times meetings to maximize and finished the material, and the next solutions is make interaction with students by showing learning video or motivational video.
