Abstract

One of the speaking activities that enhances communication competences is Information Gap Strategy. This strategy, students have to use the language to share the knowledge. The purpose of this study is to investigate the methodological approaches offered by the Information Gap Strategy and to know the effectiveness of students who are taught by using Information Gap Strategy to enhance students’ speaking skill at the tenth grade of SMAN 1 Nganjuk. and the effect on the students' speaking performance were discussed in the research.
