This research uses a questionnaire as the main instrument to collect the data and analyze data through computing data into SPSS 25. The focus of this research is to find the frequently used mobile applications and the benefits of using mobile applications for improving English speaking. Duolingo is the most popular choice (53.7%), followed by ELSA (17.8%), Cake Apps (14.9%), Hello English (9%), and Busuu Apps (4.5%). Duolingo is preferred due to features such as pronunciation exercises, interactive dialogues, and personalized feedback. Duolingo is an app that helps students in self-learning, understanding the material, and expanding interaction with friends. Meanwhile, mobile apps that are commonly used to learn to speak anywhere and anytime, helping in acquiring and practicing new vocabulary are Duolingo and Cake Apps. Furthermore, Duolingo, Cake Apps, and ELSA are mobile applications that make more confident and have proven to improve speaking skills including pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension.
