Abstract
This study aims to knowing the students' perceptions on using Blended Learning on English language learning (ELT) during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMPN 1 Wates. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach.The method used is a survey method. The data was collected through a questionnaire. There were 32 of eight grades at SMPN 1 Wates participated in this research. In this research, the researcher found that the respondents of this study gave their positive perception toward the face-to-face learning. Perception face-to�face got high interpretation with the total mean score 2.60. Beside, perception online learning got low interpretation with the total mean score 2.18. The barrier got low interpretation with the total mean score 1.93. The motivation got low interpretation with the total mean score 2.40. So, face-to-face learning is better than online learning because students can understand the teacher explain directly.
