Keywords: Learning facilities, teacher’s efforts, students' English achievement This research discusses the contribution of learning facilities employment to the English achievement of students at SMAN 1 Kediri. Students’ achievement is affected by internal and external factors, one of which is the learning facility. Facilities and infrastructure that assist teaching and learning activities are known as learning facilities. This study examines the teacher's use of instructional resources to help students learn English and how the students respond to it. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data are analyzed by reading transcripts of the interview, identifying teachers’ efforts in using learning facilities and students' responses to them, categorizing the data found, comparing and contrasting data, and drawing conclusions. The data analysis shows that: 1) the learning facilities at SMAN 1 Kediri are in accordance with the standards set by the government; 2) the students’ achievement in English lesson at SMAN 1 with good efforts made by the teacher as evidenced by their enthusiasm for asking questions in class. The result shows that the teachers' efforts to use learning facilities in the English learning process give positive responses to the students. The teacher's ability to guide students and their skills in using balanced learning facilities makes students feel happy in the process of learning English. The students more enthusiasm to know more about English. It is easier for students to master English. From the conclusions, it is expected that the use of learning facilities at SMAN 1 Kediri can be an example for other schools to increase students' enthusiasm in learning English.
