Abstract

ABSTRACT Auliana, R. P. (2022). Implementation Of Quizizz As A Lerning Outcome Assessment Tool, English Department, Faculty of Education IAIN Kediri, Advisors: Bahruddin, S.S, M.Pd., Ria Fakhrurriana, M.Pd. Keywords: Quizizz, Learning Outcome, Assessment SMKN 1 SAMBENG is a public educational institution in Lamongan area in its learning assessment use the Quizizz application from the beginning of the 2020/2021 school year. Online learning with Quizizz demands the teacher creativity in making questions for assessment and also mature planning. The researcher aims to analyze the implementation of the learning outcomes assessment using Quizizz at SMKN 1 SAMBENG, and to describe the underlaying problems in the implementation of Quizizz as a learning outcome assessment tool. Descriptive qualitative method is employed by the researcher in this research. The object is the students of SMKN 1 SAMBENG in academic year 2020/2021. Regarding to the process, the researcher first collected in interview, observation and documentation. Then, the researcher analysed: 1) Quizizz application which dealed with the application of Quizizz in SMK N 1 SAMBENG covered by Quizizz procedure, advantage and disadvantage insights 2) Some teacher still meet some problems in implementing quizizz as learning outcome assessment tool. The results showed that SMKN 1 SAMBENG has carried out appropriate activities in carrying out policies on learning outcomes assessment decisions, both for daily assessments and for mid-semester assessments. The remedial policies hopefully can help students to overcome their difficulties in learning, while enrichment activities hopefully can help students to develop their potential. Besides that, it can also take advantage of the remaining time they have for enrichment activities because enrichment is flexible. All of these policies aim to help students learn optimally. The results of this research is expected to encourga any English teacher to use and develop technology assessement tools for achieving more effective and insightful outcomes of learning objectives, specially the use of quizizz to apply.
