Abstract
ABSTRACT BINTI AZIZATUL QUSNA, Supervisory Lecturer Dr. Untung Khoiruddin, M.Pd.I. and Surahmat, M.Hum., The Urgency of Cooperation between PAI Teachers and Parents in Improving Student Learning Outcomes at SDN Sumberejo Grogol Kediri, Thesis, Islamic Religious Education Study Program , Faculty of Tarbiyah, IAIN Kediri, 2022. Keywords: Cooperation, PAI Teachers and Parents, Learning Outcomes Education is a person's way of developing both physical and spiritual abilities to achieve the desired goal. To realize this goal, it is necessary to collaborate between school institutions and parents of students, parents will get knowledge and experience from teachers and teachers will know the developmental environment of their students when at home. The cooperation carried out by teachers and parents will produce quality students, because with this collaboration, students in addition to getting knowledge development at school by teachers also get the learning control given by parents at home. Parents act as implementers and persons in charge of children at home and teachers as implementers and persons in charge of children when in the school environment and this role requires the realization of good cooperation between parents and teachers so that the goals of education can be achieved. The focus of the research discussed was: (1) How is the cooperation technique of PAI teachers and parents in improving student learning outcomes at SDN Sumberejo Grogol Kediri?, (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors of cooperation between PAI teachers and parents in improving student learning outcomes at SDN Sumberejo Grogol Kediri? This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. Data collection in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data is analyzed and checked for validity by extending the observation time, carrying out continuous observations, and triangulating. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that, (1) The technique of cooperation between PAI teachers and parents in improving student learning outcomes is to hold meetings between PAI Teachers and parents, visit students' homes, establish communication, help with schoolwork. (2) Factors supporting cooperation between teachers and parents in improving student learning outcomes are high interest in learning, motivation from teachers and parents, professional teachers, supporting facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are not optimal body condition, lack of student interest in learning, student associations, lack of parental support.
