Abstract

Grammar is an essential component of English language learning; however, many students experience difficulties in understanding and applying grammar concepts due to limited instructional time and the use of conventional learning media. This study aimed to develop a web-based digital learning media to improve grammar comprehension among senior high school students and to determine its validity, feasibility, and effectiveness. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research was conducted at MAN 1 Kediri. Data were collected through interviews, expert validation questionnaires, teacher evaluations, and student response questionnaires. The developed product was a web-based grammar learning platform containing grammar materials, interactive exercises, quizzes, and gamification features. Based on expert assessments and field trial results, this web-based learning media product is declared valid and feasible for use. The product was validated by a material expert, a media expert, a language expert, and an English teacher. The validation results showed that the material aspect obtained a score of 90%, the media aspect 88%, the language aspect 89%, and the teacher evaluation 81%, indicating that the product was highly feasible for implementation. Furthermore, field testing involving 24 students produced a percentage score of 86.4%, categorized as “Very Good.” Students responded positively to the content, design, accessibility, interactivity, and presentation of the website.
