Abstract

Based on a quantitative survey of 294 EFL learners, this study reveals highly positive perceptions toward generative AI-assisted feedback in writing activities. Grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), perceived usefulness obtained the highest mean score (4.32), followed closely by perceived ease of use (4.23) and motivational impact (4.23). These findings indicate that generative AI effectively improves writing quality, offers a user-friendly experience, and boosts learners' confidence and engagement. Ultimately, while generative AI shows strong potential for balanced pedagogical integration in EFL classrooms, its adoption must be paired with critical awareness to prevent overdependence.
