Abstract
This study examines the types and meanings of idiomatic expressions in 17 songs from Justice by Justin Bieber. Using a qualitative descriptive method and content analysis, 195 idioms were identified and classified based on Lim’s theory. The most dominant type is verb as keyword (55.4%), followed by noun as keyword (13.3%) and phrasal verbs (10.8%), while prepositional verbs are the least frequent (5.6%). The findings show that idioms play an important role in expressing emotions and meanings in song lyrics and can support English language learning, especially in understanding figurative language and enriching vocabulary.
