Abstract

This is study about nonstandard language which is well known as slang language. Slang is informal language that commonly used in speech than writting. It can be found in daily communication like in a novel, movie, song, etc. The researcher used song as the primary data source of this study. they are many slang words or phrases found on the lyric of song. The aims of this study are to find slang word or phrases on the lyric of song categorized into the types of slang and describe the meaning of slang word phrases
