Abstract AHMAD MA'MUN DAROINI, Supervisor, Dr. Umar Faruq, M.Pd and Dr. Ahmad Rifa'i, M.Pd: "Development of the Nahwu Tahbiqi Science Learning Method Using the Context of the Book of Fathul Qorib to Improve the Maharah Qira'ah Ability of Grade 4 Students of Madrasah Diniyyah Takmiliyyah Al Badriyyah Wustho, Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School Bandar Kidul, Kediri City "Key words: Nahwu Tahbiqi Science Learning Method, Context of the Book of Fathul Qorib, Maharah Qira'ah Nahwu science is a science tool for knowing Arabic, for this reason it is very necessary to understand and apply it in Arabic texts. So far, Nahwu science has only been limited to theory and lacks direct application to texts, so students easily forget about the theory they already understand, especially class 4 who will face the Munaqosyah final exam, they really feel it is difficult and lack confidence in their abilities. Based on these problems and needs, the researcher aims to 1. develop a nahwu learning product that is application-based in the context of the fathul qorib book. 2. find out the improvement of the nahwu tahbiqi maharah qira'ah method in class 4 of Madrasah Diniyyah Takmiliyyah Al Badriyyah Wustho, Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School Bandar Kidul, Kediri City." Researchers develop products using the Borg and Gall development model using 10 steps, namely 1. Research and data collection, 2. Planning, 3. Initial product development, 4. Initial product testing/limited trials, 5. Initial product improvements, 6. Wider field trials, 7. Refinement of products from wider field trials, 8. Final trial products, 9. Review or refinement of final products, 10. Institutionalization and implementation, This product has been validated by the Learning Method Expert: Dr . Yuyun Zunairoh. M.Pd and Nahwu Science Material Expert: Dr. Ahmad Rifa'i, M.Pd. This research uses a quantitative approach and is a quasi-experimental research, using pretest-posttest in the control class and experimental class. The researcher used a quota sampling technique, from the entire population of MDT Al Badriyyah students at the Al-Ishlah Islamic boarding school, the researcher took a sample of 9 experimental class students and 9 control class students who were the same in terms of ability to learn Nahwu science, namely in the Alfiyyah Ibnu Malik book stage. Research data was obtained through observation, tests and documentation. Data processing stages include: Pre-Test and Post-Test in the experimental class and control class using Validity Test, Reliability Test and Hypothesis Test using Wilcoxon Test. The research results of hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon test are as follows: Based on the "Test Statistics" output, it is known that Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) is worth 0.000. Because the value of 0.007 is smaller than <0.05, it can be concluded that "The hypothesis is accepted". This means that there is a difference between the Pre Test and Post Test scores. And it can be concluded that there was an improvement in the intervention group. Based on the "Test Statistics" output, it is known that Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) is worth 0.655. Because the value of 0.655 is greater than > 0.05, it can be concluded that "The hypothesis is rejected". This means there is no difference between the Pre Test and Post Test scores. And it can be concluded that there was no improvement in the control group.
