The Relevance of PAI “MAJIDA” Extracurricular Activities in Enhancing Higher Order Thinking Skills Among Students of MAN 2 Kota Kediri. Thesis, Department of Islamic Religious Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Kediri, 2025. Keywords: Relevance, PAI Extracurricular, Higher Order Thinking Skills In the era of globalization that is full of challenges and complexities, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is an important foundation in shaping character and improving students' thinking skills with integrity and competitiveness. High-level thinking skills (HOTS) which include analysis, synthesis, and evaluation are the key to improving the quality of competent, innovative, and noble human resources. Through MAJIDA extracurricular activities at MAN 2 Kediri City, students can develop high-level thinking skills while strengthening spiritual and moral values. This study aims to determine the implementation and relevance of MAJIDA extracurricular activities in improving high-level thinking skills in students of MAN 2 Kediri City, so that they can contribute to the development of higher quality, character-based education based on Islamic values. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data sources were obtained from the chairman and vice chairman of the MAJIDA extracurricular, as well as students who participated in the activity. Data were obtained through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques through steps starting from data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To test the validity of the data analysis results using triangulation methods, extended observations, and increased perseverance. From the results of the study it was found that the implementation of MAJIDA extracurricular activities had been systematically designed with weekly programs such as training, sermons, calligraphy, nasyid, Islamic Quiz (CCI), and annual activities such as HASRAT (Moderate Student Halaqah). Meanwhile, the relevance of MAJIDA extracurricular activities in improving high-level thinking skills can be seen from the ability to analyze sermon texts, organizational managerial skills, the ability to choose constructivist learning methods (collaborative, participatory, and dialogical), the ability to think actively during Islamic Quiz (CCI), the ability to think critically during the HASRAT (Moderate Student Halaqah) discussion forum, the ability to think divergently and convergently in nasyid and calligraphy activities, and the ability to think creatively in creating digital da'wah projects (creating modern creative Islamic content).
