Abstract
Keywords: Teachers’ Perception, Students’ Perception, Merdeka Curriculum, Arabic Language Learning, Learning Outcomes The Merdeka Curriculum is a new educational policy that emphasizes flexibility, contextual learning, and project-based approaches. This study aims to analyze teachers' and students' perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum on Arabic language learning at MTsN 7 Kediri. A qualitative descriptive method was used, with data collected through interviews, observations, and open-ended questionnaires involving two Arabic teachers and eighth-grade students. The results show that teachers responded positively to the curriculum, particularly in terms of flexibility and creativity in teaching. Students also showed high interest in learning, although challenges remain in mastering vocabulary and dealing with varying student abilities. Overall, the Merdeka Curriculum positively influences student motivation and participation, even though academic improvements are not yet consistent.
