Abstract

Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Learning Media, Learning Interest, Arabic Language. This study aims to examine the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based learning media on the interest in learning Arabic among eighth-grade students at MTsN 7 Kediri. AI technology is considered to have the potential to enhance learning motivation, although its implementation in schools still faces technical and pedagogical challenges. This research uses a quantitative analytic approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 87 students selected purposively from a population of 342 students. Data were collected through observations and questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results show that the use of AI media is not yet optimal and is applied irregularly. Students’ interest in learning is at a moderate level. A significant positive correlation was found between the use of AI media and learning interest (r = 0.406, p < 0.01), with AI media contributing 16.5% to the variance in learning interest. AI media positively influences students' interest in learning Arabic, but stronger integration into the learning process is needed.
