Many Indonesian peopleuse code switching and code mixing in daily conversations. The findings of the analysis are as follows; the researcher found out three types of code switching, two types of code mixing and three reasons Thai students switched and mixed the language. The three types of code switching are intra-sentential code switching, inter-sentential code switching, and extra-sentential code switching. And then the two types of code mixing are insertion of word code mixing and insertion of word code mixing. The three reasons were because of Rhetoric reason, different status and formalities, and the lack of vocabulary.Based on the result, the researcher suggests several things. For the students and teachers, switch and mix the language is alternative way to understand. Last, for future researchers, it can be a reference for future research.
