Pambudi, Lutfia Arum. (2024). DEVELOPING LEARNING MEDIA “ULSEL-G” IN PROCEDURE TEXT FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. Keywords: Research and Development, ADDIE method, English learning media, USEL-G, Procedure text To effectively apply the Merdeka Curriculum in English language learning, teachers must delve into its principles and select projects that align with students' developmental stages, aiming for meaningful, profound, and enjoyable learning outcomes. Innovation in teaching methods is crucial to support this implementation. This research seeks to aid students in their learning journey and assist teachers in creating innovative educational media, particularly within the realm of English language instruction. The researchers employed the Research and Development (RnD) method, utilizing the ADDIE development model. The ADDIE model, known for its systematic and comprehensible stages, is instrumental in developing educational media. Qualitative data, including the analysis phase and feedback on the feasibility assessment of learning media products, were analyzed both descriptively and qualitatively. Quantitative data encompassed validity information gathered from expert validation and user evaluations. A needs analysis indicated that students require more engaging learning media to enhance classroom learning. The focus of this media is on teaching procedure texts. To create an appealing and relevant learning tool, the initial concept was inspired by existing Uno Stacko and Uno card games, modified with rules tailored to educational interests. Evaluations by three experts resulted in an average score of 89, indicating that the USEL-G media is effective. In conclusion, the development and implementation of USEL-G as a learning medium for procedure texts have been successful. Positive feedback from both validators and students highlights its potential to enhance English language learning in senior high schools by making the learning process more engaging and effective. The researchers recommend further improvements to the UNO Lingo Stacko English Learning media, such as enhancing its design and reducing production costs through the use of plastic materials. The researchers also suggest conducting effectiveness testing and considering manufacturing time in future studies.
