Department of English Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, State Islamic Institute of Kediri, Advisors: (1) Dr. Toyyibah, M.Pd and (2) Dr. Ary Setya Budhi Ningrum, M. Pd. Keyword: Magoosh Vocabulary Builder Aplication, Improving Reading, Reading Comprehension. Reading is a fluid process in which readers construct meaning by combining information from the text and their own background knowledge. Teachers can use a variety of teaching models to help students understand text. Vocabulary application is an application that can increase vocab and can understand reading. This study aims to improve students' reading comprehension skills by using Magoosh Vocabulary Builder Aplication, which is where students can easily improve their vocab knowledge so that it can support comprehension skills in reading. This research uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, which was done in one cycle. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing and reflecting with three meetings. The subjects in this study were students of MTsN 5 Nganjuk in class VIII-I for the academic year 2023/2024. The data of this research was collected using preliminary test, cycle 1 and cycle 2 test. The result of this research showed that the Magoosh Vocabulary Builder Aplication can improve students’ reading comprehension skill of second grade of MTsN 5 Kediri. It can be seen through the results of the students' preliminary test, cycle 1 test and cycle 2 test. The average students’ score in the preliminary test was 77,30 cycle 1 66,66 and cycle 2 78,44. It means that the Magoosh Vocabulary Builder Aplication was effective to improve the students’ reading comprehension skill.
