Abstract

Morality is a common word to say, but it is very difficult to imply in human daily life. Morality is something that must be owned by human because without morality human will not be respected by other people. The purpose of this study was to find out what are the moral values to Saif Adam's songs. The researcher uses Saif Adam songs in Heart Album as the object of this study. This research uses basic qualitative research design. Descriptive analysis and the researcher become the instrument research.The researcher uses descriptive analysis because this study because this study aim to make a systematic description of moral value in the song lyrics in Heart album. In the findings, the researcher classifies nine moral values contained in the song lyric. The most appear is wisdom, be worthy of trust, and be responsible. There are nine examples of wisdom which appears in the song lyric, they are, be careful, be wise, not desperation, fear of god, be worthy of trust, be patient, being respect, sorry and apologize. The result of this study can be used to contribute the development of the literary study, particularly among the people who are interested in the literary study and remind readers the importance of moral values and also implement in daily activity.
