Abstract

ABSTRAСТ MUH. ARIFUL IBAD, 2023, Instilling Student Morals towards Teachers through Pesantren Culture at PP Rahmatan Lil'alamiin Bukur Village, Patianrowo District, Nganjuk Regency, Islamic Religious Education, Postgraduate, IAIN Kediri, Supervisor: 1. Dr. Muhamad Yasin, S.Ag, M.Pd, 2. Dr. H. Muniron, M.Ag Keywords: Moral Cultivation, Pesantren Culture Akhlakul karimah is the main Marwah of a Muslim. The high quality of Islamic values will be reflected in the personality of its adherents. Rahmatan Lil'alamin Islamic Boarding School is an institution whose main concentration is in moral development. Through pesantren culture, moral cultivation and character education of students in terms of community relations, solving life problems, as well as attitudes and morals in society and also the values contained in learning and cultures in pesantren. This study aims to describe: 1) Cultivation of student morals towards teachers, 2) Pesantren culture and 3) Instillation of student morals towards teachers through pesantren culture The research approach used in this study is a qualitative research approach, which is research that intends to understand phenomena about what is experienced by research subjects such as behavior, perception, motivation, action, and others holistically and by way of description in the form of words and language, in a special natural context and by utilizing various natural methods. While this type of research is descriptive research that describes and analyzes the phenomena and events collected as they are, which are appropriate and relevant to the object of research. This research was conducted at the Rahmatan Lil'alamiin Islamic Boarding School, Bukur Village, Patianrowo District, Nganjuk Regency The results showed that: 1) Cultivation of Student Morals in PP Rahmatan Li'alamin applies 6 methods, namely: a) understanding, b) example, c) advice, d) habituation, giving gifts and punishments, e) participation and f) participation and independence, 2) Pesantren culture in PP rahmatan lil'lamin namely respect and piety, obedience and discipline, courtesy and politeness, which are embodied in the culture of civility and morals, culture of science, culture of discipline and culture of skill and independence. 3) instilling students' morals towards teachers through pesantren culture at PP Rahmatan Lil'alamin, students have religious character values, independence, simplicity, togetherness, social and morals.
